My music composed in August 2025, based on original theme from September 2024. This piece is the last in my cycle called Summer impressions and it depicts grey clouds that gradually turn into rain. In the second half of the first section, a light drizzle begins and slowly intensifies. At the beginning of the middle section, thunder suddenly breaks out, followed by a heavy downpour.

As the storm subsides, the texture begins to clear, and near the end of the second section, a brief glimmer of sunlight appears in shimmering chords. The opening section then returns in a varied form - the clouds remain grey, but the rain after the storm feels calmer, almost peaceful.

The piece ends on the dominant, which would normally feel unresolved, but here it gains a stronger sense of closure through the altered chords in the coda that precede it.
